Nancy L. Ashworth, MSOD, PCC is an executive coach and leadership development expert with a wide range of experience in organizational development, corporate change, leadership strategy and team effectiveness. Her experience includes coaching and consulting leaders at all levels in high tech, manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality and federal, state and city government. Her clients have ranged from Director level to CEO, COO, CIO, business unit presidents and global leaders within Hewlett-Packard, Marriott International, Ford Motor, IBM, NBC-TV, Army Corps of Engineers, Blue Cross/Blue Shield CA, and national healthcare systems.

Nancy is known for her ability to work with both scientific, technical minded leaders and big-picture thinkers. Using a systems-approach that includes a cycle of assessment, challenge and support, clients’ are equipped to accelerate development and build leader behaviors. Nancy asks intuitive and challenging questions to bring powerful awareness to clients about their values, strengths and behaviors.

Nancy spent 10 years living in Japan, the Philippines and Turkey, and enjoys working with diverse populations, across cultures, and with international leaders and teams.

In her work with Colorado Permanente Medical Group, Nancy developed a dynamic physician coaching practice. For five years she coached top-performing doctors from a variety of specialties (internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, ENT, allergy) to build business management skills, executive presence, political and organizational savvy and strategic thinking skills. A client referral led to Nancy’s role as team coach to the Board of Directors, where her work for building board teams was nationally recognized and replicated within Kaiser Permanente.

Nancy spent five years with Hewlett-Packard in a client-facing role as senior organizational change consultant. Prior to that she was a national training manager for Marriott International and held Senior Director OD roles within national healthcare systems where she designed enterprise-wide change initiatives.

Nancy is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credentialed through the International Coach Federation, a Board Certified Coach (BCC), through Center for Credentialing and Education, a certified Mentor Coach through InviteChange, a Co-Active Professional Certified Coach (CPCC) through Coaches Training Institute, and a full member of the International Coach Federation.

She completed her Masters of Science in Organizational Development (MSOD) from The American University, where she graduated with Distinction, and holds a B.A. from The University of Colorado.
